70s Heat
Old electrical gadgets are way more attractive than the streamlined stuff we have nowadays. I love anything that reminds me of my childhood and those pre-digital days. Supersers and Ceramic fuses are just a nostalgic avenue I like to travel down. In this case I also wanted to see if I could find a way to paint heat. Like my other electrical paintings I have placed this old style electric cooker ring in abstract isolation so the viewer can focus on the heat. By the looks of it, the knob was turned up to 5 (5 was the highest heat we had in the 70s).
