The Fruit Pickers - Strawberries

I've used Lego figures a lot when I want to create a fun still life. They allow me to infuse emotional or practical human context into a composition with traditional still life objects - like fruit. This little series gave me the opportunity to work on my still life skills while having a little fun creating a narrative story around it. The idea of little Lego characters harvesting full sized fruit crops also makes me smile.
