Tommy T

I wanted to catch Tommy in flight. In this case on his TV show. There are constantly moments when he is not only engaged in the conversation, but also processing everything about the person in front of him. It's a remarkable ability and I wanted to try and capture that moment in the eyes and the gestures. I choose to paint well-known people as a way to demonstrate my portraiture. I've worked with Tommy in the past and to sit in conversation with him is to be aware that he is invested in you. He's interested in people. He seeks to know you and to understand what you have to say. I've tried to do the same in return...in oil.
